Alliance Staff Pilots New Module and Trains Ambassadors at Mission Bay High School

The Climate Science Alliance team successfully pilots new Regional Impacts module and trains future Climate Kids Ambassadors at Mission Bay High School.

Climate Science Alliance staff had the opportunity to engage with students at Mission Bay High School (MBHS), piloting our newest Climate Kids module on regional climate change impacts as well as inviting students to join our team at events and in classrooms as Climate Kids Ambassadors.

The training was held on October 29-30 and engaged six full classes of MBHS students with science, storytelling and art activities. The brand-new Regional Impacts module was a huge success with the students and will be added as a new Climate Kids Traveling Trunk resource shortly.

Thank you to our partner and MBHS teacher Steve Walters for inviting the Alliance team into your classroom each year.

Programs and materials presented at this training were made possible through the support of our partners, including the California Coastal Commission and the Whale Tail Grant. Thank you!
