With a population close to 40 million people, California is a key state in developing sea level rise content for educators.

We want to make sea level rise content accessible with regional, locally-relevant lessons and program resources for middle school, high school, and general public audiences.

Hands-on activities to demonstrate the process of climate change and its impacts

Engaging students on the topic of climate change in a fun, relatable, and interactive way

Deepening students’ understanding of climate change by encouraging creative expression

Become a SEAL ambassador!

We are looking for educators, science communicators, and interpreters to help test materials.

  • Formal/informal educators, K-12

  • Science education centers, interpretation programs

  • Outdoor educators

  • Tribal educators

  • Bilingual educators
