Climate Science Alliance team member Audrey Carver visited the City of Chula Vista Otay Ranch Library’s weekly reading session at the end of September to read stories and share activities from the Climate Kids Book Club. The Otay Ranch Library holds a weekly storytime, facilitated by Children’s Librarian Maricar Camaya. We were lucky to join and bring activities from the Climate Kids Book Club. Youth listened to stories about pollinators, were able to try on beekeeping gear, and make seed paper bookmarks. It was a day of fun and learning with local youth—many thanks to Maricar and the Otay Ranch Library for hosting us!
