Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club Sponsors Climate Kids

Thank-you to the Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club for their support of Climate Kids and the Traveling Trunk program. Your dedication to improving environmental and climate literacy in our community helps foster the next generation of stewards!

Earlier this year, the Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club connected with the Climate Science Alliance to help support and sponsor the creation of a Climate Kids Oceans Traveling Trunk.

The Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club is one of 64 Rotary Clubs in the San Diego and Imperial County District. The mission of the Eco Rotary Club, one of four “Eco” Clubs worldwide, is to educate themselves and their communities about environmental challenges and engage in implementing solutions. They do this through supporting and volunteering for local community organizations focused on protecting the earth.

The generous donation of the Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club will have rippling effects as their sponsored traveling trunk reaches thousands of students across the region- empowering them to learn about and take actions to help protect the earth.
