Climate Kids @ The Fleet Center

Cabrillo's Biodiversity Breakdown

Check out the surveyed and documented species from this year's Bioblitz at Cabrillo National Monument. Thousands of people made it out to the park to participate in hands-on-science activities and document species of all kinds in the park. Climate Kids Visits Vivian Banks Charter School

On May 26, 2016, Climate Kids—Tribes kicked off as Staff visited Vivian Banks Charter School in Pala, California. Students participated in our Carnivore Module, and learned about climate change and how to protect the earth. Ocean Climate Summit 2016

Climate Science Alliance Staff attended the Ocean Climate Summit in San Francisco on May 17, 2016. Climate Kids-Mexico Dia del Niño y Educacion Ambiental Event

On April 28, 2016 Climate Kids-Mexico held a pasarela about the monarch butterfly where they told a story about monarch butterfly named Alicia y la Mariposa Monarca and held story making worshops all in collaboration with the Colegio de la Frontera Norte Ecoparque Dia del Niño y educacion ambiental. Climate Kids-Mexico Pasarela

Cabrillo’s Bioblitz on Saturday May, 21st held a special Binational Event with Climate Kids-Mexico. Climate Science Alliance & Earth Discovery Institute partner on Climate Kids Assembly at Bayside

The Climate Science Alliance Climate Kids’ program partnered with Earth Discovery Insititute to bring a Nos de Chita-Climate Kids assembly to Bayside Elementary in Imperial Beach. Our partner Nos de Chita held a dance, rhythm and body percussion assembly at Bayside Elementary on May 10, 2016. Climate Kids at Cabrillo’s Bioblitz

On Saturday May 21st Climate Kids participated in Cabrillo National Monument’s Bioblitz. Ambassadors from Pacific Beach Elementary, Climate Kids-Mexico and Nos de Chita were all there as part of the fun. Climate Kids @Cabrillo with Goodwill Industries

On April 12, 2016, the 4th and 5th grade Climate Kids from Pacific Beach Elementary went on a field trip to Cabrillo National Monument. This field trip highlighted native plants to the San Diego region and allowed students to be scientists observing various species of plants whilst on a guided hike. Our next Climate Kids event will be at Cabrillo National Monument’s Bioblitz on May 21st which will be from 9AM-3PM. Cabrillo's Bioblitz is a one day event held at Cabrillo National Monument. Intertribal Earth Day 2016!

On Saturday April 9th we attended the Intertribal Earth Day 2016 at the La Jolla Band Campground along the San Luis Rey River and at the base of beautiful Palomar Mountain. This first annual event brought together tribes from throughout San Diego and the broader region to share information on ecosystem management, sustainability, and promoting environmentalism in our daily lives. Climate Kids Meet Mayor Falconer

On April 1, 2016 Climate Kids from San Diego and Mexico participated in the Wyland Foundation's 5th Annual National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation.
